The cyclical nature of existence is often considered to be the source of suffering in the human condition. I offer these Mandala-like compositions as a contemporary form of meditative protection.

The image originate as a collection of photographs of a sealing of a cathedral, an architectural representation of the heavens above, with its intricate detail available to admire but too far to reach.
